This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you use this website, contact us, or become a client. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Welch Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13328901. Registered office: Maidstone House, 9 Maidstone House, King Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6JQ.
We also operate from Dubai through Welch Web Design FZCO, IFZA licence number 86411, IFZA Property FZCO, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE.
Welch Marketing Ltd is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For anything in this policy, email tyler@welchmarketing.co.uk or call 01732 414169.
What we collect
- Enquiry and booking details you give us when you book a call in our online calendar, phone us, WhatsApp us or email us: your name, business name, phone number, email address and anything you choose to tell us.
- Client account details if you become a client: contacts, billing details, access to marketing accounts, and business performance figures you share or record in WelchCRM.
- Website usage data, only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location.
- Technical logs kept by our hosting provider for security, such as IP addresses.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and hold the strategy call you booked: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To deliver our services to clients: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep accounts and records: our legal obligations.
- To understand how the website is used and to measure advertising: your consent, through our cookie banner.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
Who we share it with
We never sell personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Google, which provides our booking calendar and email, when you book a call.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our CRM and messaging platform, where enquiries are stored and followed up.
- Our website hosting and email providers.
- Google and Meta for analytics and advertising, only where you have accepted those cookies, or where we run advertising on a client’s behalf.
- Our accountants, legal advisers and, if required by law, regulators or law enforcement.
International transfers
Some providers, such as GoHighLevel, process data in the United States, and our team works from both the UK and the United Arab Emirates. Where data leaves the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, together with confidentiality obligations and access controls.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our relationship and six years afterwards, for tax and legal purposes.
- Cookie choices: 12 months.
Our clients’ customers
When we run marketing and WelchCRM for a client, the leads their customers send belong to that client. The client is the controller and we act as their processor under a data processing agreement. If you enquired with one of our clients, contact that business about your data.
How we protect it
We use encrypted connections, individual password protected accounts, owner only access to financial figures in WelchCRM, and security hardening across our websites. Access is limited to people who need it.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to someone else. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email tyler@welchmarketing.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We will update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
